Irrigation Zone Map
Outside watering for lawns and gardens can place a significant demand on public water supplies.
Utah
has 6 climate zones (excluding non-arable lands), which correspond
with crop consumptive use
and annual precipitation. In northern mountains, the outside watering
requirements would be quite
low (Zone 1), compared with the southern part of the state where the
climate is usually very warm
(Zone 6). As a result, these use zones have different outside watering
requirements.
The irrigation zone map is available in three different qualities. Select the most suitable version from these choices:
- High Quality (2322 x 3240 pixels, 4.5 mb)
- Medium Quality (800 x 1116 pixels, 0.45 mb) Recommended
- Lower Quality (640 x 893 pixels, 0.3 mb)
TIP: Some browsers will automatically downsize these images upon opening. To enlarge the image to a usable size, hover your cursor over the image. It may take some time, but eventually a button should appear in the lower right corner which will allow you to enlarge the map. This will make the map much more readable.
