Proposed Hydraulic Modeling Rule (R309-501) We completed the three public hearings in October and are in the process of compiling the comments we have received and preparing the official response to the Drinking Water Board on 1/13/2010 to initiate rule making. Click here for the proposed rule language as filed with DAR. We also produced mass mailings to community water systems, NTNC water systems, and consultants to solicit their feedback.

p.m. Then on August 4, 2008, as part of Governor Huntsman's "Working 4 Utah" initiative, our office hours changed. We are now open Monday - Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Fridays. In order to provide better customer service, we want to hear from you. Click here to take our short survey.
SB 81 - Beginning July 1, 2009, the Division is required to verify the lawful presence in the United States of an individual at least 18 years of age (includes sole proprietor doing business under assumed name) who has applied for drinking water system operators or backflow persons. A Citizenship/Alien ID Certification form is available that can be mailed to the Division.
Stimulus Funds Available - The Utah Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan Program will receive approximately $19 million dollars as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) to fund drinking water infrastructure projects in Utah. Click here for more information.
Drinking Water Board Webpage - The Board adopts and enforces rules related to public drinking water systems. The Division of Drinking Water is the administrative arm of this board.
