One
convenient way to store emergency water is to simply purchase
high quality bottled water. Note the expiration date for the product
you buy. Most bottled water has a shelf life of about a year.
One gallon, per person, per day is recommended. Store the bottles
away from any source of fumes or odors.

Utah's public drinking water suppliers are encouraged to develop
emergency response plans. For more information see Emergency
Response Guidebook (pdf).
